EXMORE, VA., At its March 16th meeting, the Eastern Shore of Virginia Broadband Authority (ESVBA) approved to accept Network Extension Requests by service providers in an effort to expand broadband services on the Eastern Shore. Service providers must complete the Network Extension Request Form and submit them to ESVBA no later than May 4th, 2017. Requests will be evaluated and ranked based upon the Service Provider’s committed monthly revenue to ESVBA, ESVBA capital expenditure to construct, number of customers served, and equity between Northampton and Accomack counties. All requests are subject to ESVBA’s capital program and ESVBA reserves the right to reject any and all requests.
Please Note: My current DSL connection with Verizon (I live on Breezy Point between Onancock and Cashville) is dismal. A top download speed of 2.4 Mbps and an erratic connection. I hope you will consider residents such as myself in evaluating extension proposals. Using the tower near Onancock on Cashville Road as a rebroadcast site would serve a large audience, myself included.

Please don’t stop a Harborton Road . Orange conduit has been laid in front of my house for YEARS ! Today I learned that Neubean can’t get a signal from a new transmitter half mile away.
